We are accepting Nursery applications for the September 2026 intake.

Children born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023 should fill in an expression of interest Expression of Interest

At Dewhurst St Mary C of E Primary, our Nursery offers a warm, nurturing start for children in the early years . We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, learn through play, and build confidence with support from caring staff. Our nursery offering is designed to help children settle quickly and enjoy every step of their learning journey.

We provide both 30 hour and 15 hour provision. Parents can choose the option that best fits their circumstances, supporting working families and helping children access high-quality early education. Our Nursery timetable is structured to balance learning activities, indoor and outdoor play, and social interactions ensuring children thrive.

There are 26 places in our Nursery. 

All children are entitled to 15 hours free early education from the term after their 3rd birthday.

The Nursery sessions are as follows: (15 or 30 hours)

Universal

8.45-11.45am Government funded (free)

Added Option:
1 hour lunch session (11.45-12.45) cost £6   or 
Whole afternoon sessions can be booked for Mon-Thurs  (11.45-3.15) cost £21

30 hours (for working parents)

8.45- 3.15 Mon-Thurs 

8.45-12.45 Fri

Optional:
Additional Friday afternoon (12.45 - 3.15)  £15

Payable additional sessions are payable monthly in advance and subject to increase.Working parents may be entitled to 30 hours free childcare.
